The 3 Step Divorce Process

There are only three basic steps to a divorce but lots to consider and agree.

 

 

 

New Low Cost Service - Do you qualify?

Our new Collaborative Divorce Service is for those couples who are largely in agreement about children and finances but need support to make sure you get everything right.

  • Are you broadly in agreement on finances and or child arrangements?  Yes / No
  • Have you agreed to separate? Yes / No
  • Are you willing to work collaboratively to achieve a positive outcome? Yes / No
  • Have you discussed the costs for your divorce? Yes / No
  • Are you willing to meet your mediator together online? Yes / No

If you have answered ‘Yes’ to the above, then the collaborative divorce service is available to you.

The service includes:

  1. A joint MIAM that will outline the whole process and allow you to ask questions
  2. Co-ordination of financial disclosures either jointly or individually
  3. Guidance for valuing assets
  4. Discussing options for managing marital debts
  5. Investigating pension options
  6. Preparation of financial statements
  7. Drafting agreements for ongoing childcare and support (including Child Maintenance)
  8. A joint meeting drafting final agreements
  9. Drafting of a Memorandum of Understanding for use in creating a Financial Consent Order (through a solicitor)

The package cost is £695 and will be payable at the time of booking.
